I just wanted to say I am VERY disappointed in Emporium and the service I have gotten thus far. I ordered a small laptop./tablet back in December and received an email that due to holiday orders the order was going to be delayed and if I wanted to cancel to email. I decided to cancel and send that email and got absoulutely no reply back. After Christmas I got in the chat box and verified that my order was cancelled. I was told it was cancelled and that it was an “IT” error of why I couldn’t see that, again I didn’t get any emails or any kind of confirmation of this happening. A few days later I got in the chat again and ask if the order was cancelled and to verify I would NOT be charged. | I was told once again it was cancelled and that my account would update is X amt of days (which I was told before) and not to worry I would NOT be charged. I do believe I got in the chat box once again because I receive in the mail a statement saying I was going to be charged on 1-2-17 and was once again told I wouldn’t be charged and disregard that letter it was automated yada yada yada. So January comes and guess what happened? I GOT CHARGED $101. I am beyond pissed off. I get in chat again and I am told I will get refunded in 10 days, its been 16 and no refund. Get in chat today and I am told that I will receive a check refund. I wasn’t told this before and the account that was charged is now overdrawn and I am getting charged by my bank for all of this this is absolutely ridiculous. I don’t get any email replies to anything, especially from the billing place I have sent email after email and get no responses. | So besides all of that happening I did decide to try again on January 8th I put in another order for a similar item I order before that is a little cheaper thinking maybe it will go well this time. Its January 16th and nothing has shipped I don’t get any reasons of why. I get in chat and I am told they are waiting ACH approval or whatever, which doesn’t make sense because they charged me on ACH for the old order so this was already done before! I don’t know what is going on but this is an absolute mess. I am very disappointed with the service I have gotten from emporium and never have I had to go through all of this crap before. I really hope something can be done and I get ome kind of compensation for all of this mess. I really don’t want to cancel this order yet again and still get charged. Both orders were supposed to be presents and both times I don’t get them so very upsetting when I try to do something nice and cant even do it.
